This is the perfect Caribbean escape for the family. As soon as you disembark, our guides will be waiting to take you straight to adventure.
First, we pick you up at port exit gate. Meeting time is 1 hour 30 minutes after cruise docking time. You will head to the port Exit Gate and look for the Explore Roatan sign.
Then we head to our first stop, get ready to hold a sloth in your arms and capture the moment📸. At the -Sloth and Monkey Park- you will have the chance to hold a sloth, while monkeys play around you. Birds like macaws and parrots will fly to you to get pampered. Learn about the “island rabbit” or other Roatan endemic species.
Now we are headed for adventure. Our boat captain and Luigi (our pet capuchin monkey) will be waiting for us to take us on a snorkeling trip of a lifetime. Roatan is known for it’s healthy and colorful reefs. And the great part about this, is that you don’t have to take a 45 minute boat ride to get to the reef, Roatan reef is only a short 2 minute ride.
We will have all the gear ready for you(snorkel, mask, fins and life vest). As soon as you jump in the crystal clear water, you will see a community of over 60 starfish and conch, as well as the many species of fish and other marine life.
Later, we come back to our private little beach for a relaxing time and some Caribbean lunch. Lunch includes freshly caught fish, coconut rice and beans, coleslaw and plantain chips, and a soft drink.
After all the fun, we head back to the ship. We guarantee to have you there with at least 2 hours before ship departure. Explore Roatan staff’s main goal is to do their best to guarantee your satisfaction.
Because of Covid we started offering our customers the option of making their excursion a private one for $10 US extra PP. This means you won’t be sharing a ride with another group.
